In addition to these, I plan to continue visiting my acupuncturist, and hope to be able to get rid of my allergies and asthma.
Ongoing, and effective immediately:
- Meditate at least 3 times per week.
- Weather permitting, walk to/from kempo class.
- Run full forms set at least once per week.
- Resume "Sakari" workouts (stances, physical conditioning, techniques, drills, forms) 2/week.
By first weekend in February:
- Measure back yard and begin planning garden layout.
Before July 11:
- Recover full proficiency with all forms as taught at Memphis Aiki-Kai dojo.
- Weight down under 200 lbs.
Miscellaneous:
- Finish painting the remaining rooms of the house.
- Get remaining pieces of artwork hung.
Last year's resolutions and results:
- Spend more time with those I love. Check.
- Get my weight back under 200 lbs. Not sure, but I doubt it. I haven't been on a scale since September. I'm definitely down, but I doubt I'm down that far.
- Obtain a position in Memphis and relocate there. Check.
- Before leaving Nashville, hike the Ganier Ridge trail at Radnor Lake. Check.
- Continue my genealogical research. Technically, but not as much as I want to.
- Conduct one or more martial arts seminars. Check.
- Actually write the article that's been kicking around in the back of my head for months now, and submit it to one of the martial arts magazines for publication. No, although I have written two others for my web site.
