Sometimes, my mother cheats

Rhi and I went to dinner with my mother last night, and got to meet her beau. He's a good fellow -- I like him, and he seems to make her happy, and that's what really matters.

Usually, she gives birthday cards that are funny or silly. This year, she gave me a more serious one.
