Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] gryphonrhi:
If there is someone on your friends' list who makes the world a better place just because s/he exists, and whom you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your LJ.

With two exceptions, I'd never have met any of the people on my Friends list without the internet -- and I'd have been a much poorer soul for that.

And as for the other two...

The one is truly my brother, much more so than the one who shares my parentage.

The other is the keeper of my heart, the delight of my life, and the match-mate to my spirit. Ai shite imasu, Rhi-chan.

Some days, it can be staggering to contemplate how truly blessed I am... and yet it is those same blessings that help me keep my feet when I do stumble.

and no, that's not a typo.

I love it when people continue to try to tell me I'm wrong, even when I offer them facts and they have nothing to back up their position.

I just had a long debate with one of my cow-orkers about whether or not International Law was considered part of US Law. I pointed out that the US Supreme Court had repeatedly ruled that International Law was a component of US Domestic Law. He denied that this had ever occured, even when I offered to show him copies of the rulings from those cases.

I only had the information from one of those cases from my International Law course last summer, which I sent to him. I'll be very curious to see what response I get, if any.

Oh, well... just further proof that there's no shortage of idiots in the world.
