We've actually gotten a good bit done on the house this weekend.

We finished sorting the paperback books (I haven't counted them, but even a conservative estimate places them well over 1000 titles). I also replaced the light fixture outside the front door, and we've measured and mapped out the back yard, which will allow us to start planning for gardens, statuary, etc.

Rhi got a coupon for a discount on two entrees at Steak & Ale, and it expires today, so now we're off to a lovely dinner!

Thursday was my most recent acupuncture session. For some reason, the points were much more sensitive this time -- it is very unusual for me to even feel most of the needles, let alone have any pain from them. This time, there were several that were quite uncomfortable. I was puzzled that even though I hadn't been there in 3 weeks, they did no preliminary examination, no taking of pulses, no checking of the tongue, etc. Having never been to an acupuncturist before, I have no idea how common this is, but it struck me as odd.

We disagreed again about one of the points she used. She identified it as Lung 9, but I am convinced she is mistaken. This is the third time we've disagreed, although on one of them I'm (mostly) willing to accept her version, since Lung 7 isn't a point I use much. All of the ones we've disagreed on have been on the Lung meridian, which makes me wonder if she A) isn't as familiar with that meridian, or B) the location-charts she learned under differ from the ones I've seen. All of the ones I've seen, but hey, I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, here.... ::G::
