Epic Fail

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) filed a complaint against the New York Times because of an ad featuring a raw chicken, saying that the chicken was "too sexy."

This same group also recently announced its newest web site: a XXX porn site! (the link is work-safe, it's just to an article about the upcoming site)

So let me get this straight. You're starting a triple-X porn site, but you think a raw chicken is too sexy?

I think my brain just broke!

Dojo Update

As I've mentioned elseJournal, I was recently given the opportunity to take over running a martial arts school here in Memphis. After a lot of careful thought and talking it over with Rhi, my students, and the other instructors at the school, I decided I would do it.

Tonight, the members of the school will meet for pizza, then will head to the school to begin cleanup and renovations. Effective tomorrow morning, "Denbow's Memphis Martial Arts Center" will be no more, and in its place will be simply "Memphis Martial Arts," under yours truly.
