Awesome, Awesome, *AWESOME* seminar this past weekend!
I drove up to Indianapolis Friday to attend a weekend-long seminar with some of the really high mucky-mucks in the style of karate I'm currently studying (Ryukyu kempo), including Grandmaster George Dillman himself. I was expecting it to be people of all different ranks, but when I looked around, I saw three people who were about half-way to black belt, a few who were right below brown belt, a few brown belts, and the rest were black belts. Probably ~100 people all told.
There were a lot of extremely informative sessions, on everything from "Idiot-proofing your martial arts," to some advanced knockouts, energy manipulations, accupuncture, and all sorts of other fun stuff.
Needless to say, I'm still trying to assimilate much of it, and I'm sure there is plenty of it that I have already lost... but it was well worth the cost and the drive!
