I love my friends

This weekend I got an absolutely lovely present from a very old and dear friend of mine living over in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She had managed to get her hands on some antique kimono sleeves, and a pattern by which they could be made into a sashimono, with the kanji for "dragon" on it.

She didn't know about my recent promotion to Master rank. She didn't know I have a birthday coming up. She just saw it, thought of me, and did it... for no other reason than that she knew I would like it.

I have such awesome friends!
