Only four frakking months!

I have finally managed to jump through all the hoops for the insurance company to fix my car from where it was hit on 4/11. Tomorrow, I get to take it to the shop, and have a rental car waiting for me (yes, I also have the confirmation number from the rental car company).

Stubborn? Me?

Okay, now Enterprise Car Rental is being obstinate.

I'm not renting their car -- Scottsdale Insurance is. I told Enterprise that I acknowledge responsibility for anything that happens to the car while it is in my possession, but that I do not acknowledge financial responsibility if Scottsdale refuses to pay them for the rental.

What's so hard to understand about that? Scottsdale Insurance is responsible for paying the bill, I'm responsible for bringing the car back intact.

Sheesh...
