Received initial feedback from alpha testers, one piece of which unfortunately resulted in a total re-write of the program up to that point. Definitely a setback, but at least I was able to mostly copy things from the initial version to the replacement.

Incorporated other fixes and several suggestions from alpha testers.

Wrote test document for alpha testers -- 12 pages? Yikes! Fortunately, even at that length, it is a quick process. QA/Beta testers, don't panic! ;-)

Wrote user documentation. I should probably be worried that my user documentation is only 3 pages long but my tester documentation is 4 times that, huh? Well, the user doc is 3 pages of text, which expands to 6 pages once I add in screenshots, but still....

Sent formal Progress Report to professor, detailing accomplishments so far and remaining steps.

Once my Alpha Testers have sent me this round of feedback, that phase will be closed and I move on to QA Testing. [livejournal.com profile] saxononyx, I should have something for you in a couple of days.

As always, my heartfelt thanks to [livejournal.com profile] gryphonrhi and [livejournal.com profile] alysswolf, for more things than I could begin to list here.
