Project Status Update

I'm jumping the gun a little bit by sending out the latest Test Pack to my Beta Testers. The Beta Test period isn't scheduled to start until Sunday, but I'd promised one of my testers that they could have the weekend to do their testing.

Next weekend will (hopefully!) see the end of the testing, barring any last-minute changes that need to be made. It certainly won't be perfect, and there are at least two known issues that aren't going to get addressed this time around, but they are fairly minor.

And of course, after I'd reached a certain "critical mass" level with the particular method I'm using to build this program, I find something that would have worked better in several significant ways, but that would require a complete re-write.

Oh, well... that may be Version 2.0. ::S::



Current Project Phase: QA Testing
Timeframe for current phase: Nov 5 - 11
Tasks for current phase:
Deliver the program and any documentation to the QA tester for System testing. Status: Done
Document feedback on program from QA testers. Status: Completed for one QA tester, will do likewise for other tester shortly.
Evaluate testing feedback for any changes needed to final version of the program. Status: ditto



Next Phase: Beta Testing
Timeframe for next phase: Nov 12 - 18
Tasks for next phase:
