I know I haven't been keeping up-to-date on these posts. Bad me.

From the start, they've been saying that part of my problem was a Kidney Yin deficiency. A few weeks ago, my brain finally kicked up a reference to one of the Qi Gong exercises called The 8 Pieces of Brocade. There is both a standing and a seated version of this, and the seated version has one section that is specifically for the kidneys.

Duh.

So I started doing this set a few weeks ago. It's supposed to be done "between midnight and noon" (i.e. in the morning), so I've usually been doing it on my morning break.

Yesterday I reminded the acupuncturist that I'd been doing this, and asked if it'd had any noticeable effect. After "reading my pulses" the doctor was quite pleasantly surprised at how much improvement there had been.

Yay!

So, needless to say, I'll keep doing that one for a while... 8-)

And this is the first Spring that I can remember not taking one single dose of allergy medicine, and my use of my inhaler is down to once every few weeks. 8-)

WooHoo.. that's fantastic! Anytime you can reduce especially the inhaler is a good thing. :^)
