I hope he lives up to your hopes and to the sense of promise and possibility he's generated. And that the tough choices he's gonna have to make (pretty damn soon now!) wind up the *right* tough choices in the short *and* the long term, for the US and also for the rest of us indirectly affected by y'all.
I am *very* proud of my countrymen -- yes, I'm glad we elected who we did, but what I'm proud of is how many people actually got up off their asses and went to vote. As I understand it, they shattered the records for voter turnout!
