After far too many moons and WAY too many dollars, I have finally gotten all of the legal paperwork requirements for the dojo taken care of as of this morning!
I could cheerfully beat the living crap out of the two previous owners, who clearly never bothered with such niceties as sign permits, fire code inspections, etc. It would have been nice if the previous owner had tipped me off to this little fact when I took over from him -- at least I'd have had some expectation that I'd have to get lots of work done on the place before it was up to code.
Oh, well.
It's done now, and the last inspector signed the paperwork this morning. And there was much rejoicing!

(heh, taking care of crap other people should have is the price you pay for being a responsible person. On the other hand, you get the righteous satisfaction, too.)

And yeah, I've been muttering several times about, "The things they don't tell you about running your own school" for quite a while now. That, and calling the previous owners all sorts of impolite names... ::G::

And thank you for all your help through this mess, darlin!
