I'm not crying, you're crying!

I was doing okay until I saw the footage of the people outside the Supreme Court singing Amazing Grace.

RBG, thank you for all that you did. Heaven knows, we needed you -- we still do, but it would be unfair and ungracious of us to be anything but grateful that you carried so much load for so long.

Part of me is thinking, "God help us"... but I've always been more inclined to believe that we need to do all within or power before calling on a different Power.

So I guess it's time to figure out how to best bring about what our country needs, what our world needs, and make it happen.

A spark of brightness on a dark night

Amidst the sorrow of the loss of the Notorious RBG, I did have a spot of brightness today.

The knife-throwing program I'm following requires 35 consecutive successful throws at minimal range to pass Stage 2. My final set last night went for 42 consecutive throws! 42 -- the answer to life, the universe, and everything!

I got word tonight that yes, I officially progress to Stage 3, which is where I change the distance after every throw.
