T minus 20 hours...

Well, I got one issue resolved during class tonight -- assuming that the other student and I both pass our rank test tomorrow, she will be the senior student.

Fair enough. I've got more experience overall, but she has more experience with this instructor, and has a better knowledge of the fine details of how he likes things done.

So basically, the only way I become senior student at this point is if I pass and she fails -- and since I don't have any ill will towards her, I'll accept that.

And no, it's not a big deal to me. But I will admit to a fondness for being number one... ::S::

I'm taking the day off from work tomorrow, to spend the day resting, preparing, and meditating. The test is at 6:00, and I didn't feel like working all day, getting off at 5:00, driving to the dojo... and having maybe a half hour to prepare for the test.

Any good thoughts folks wanted to send my way around 6:00 CDT tomorrow would be greatly appreciated!
