I think it is a considerable understatement to say that I am not looking forward to Friday.
As strange as that may sound on the surface, it makes plenty of sense.
A long, long time ago, ina galaxy an old gymnasium far, far away, a much younger Dragon started training in the martial arts. About a year and a half later, he was taking a rank test (for the rank right below brown belt in that school), and during that test he employed a very advanced and little known technique, whereby he caught a kick right on the point of his chin. Unfortunately, this very advanced and little known technique had the side effect of damaging a couple of his teeth.
Fast forward to today. A somewhat older dragon visits the dentist, who informs Our Hero that one of those teeth that was damaged now as an abscess at it's root.
As a result, this Friday I have two appointments. One, for the dentist to clean the other half of my teeth... and one for the endodontist to do a root canal. 8-(
My heartfelt apologies in advance to those who will have to put up with me this weekend.
