We had a fund-raiser in our office over the last several weeks -- an Angel Tree, but with an added twist.
Two of the managers here had each bought a small child's bicycle as part of the gifts to be given away. Then things got strange...
Both of these managers are large men -- one is well over six feet, a former kickboxer, and I would estimate he weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 230 lbs -- and none of it is fat. The other is about six feet, probably weighs somewhere in the middle to upper 200's, and considerably more of it is fat. ::G::
Well, it seems that one of them dared the other to ride one of these little bikes around the office.
From there, it turned into a contest between the two of them. They would do a fundraiser for the Angel Tree charity, and whichever one of them raised the least money would have to ride one of the bikes all around the office. Then they decided that if they both managed to raise at least $2000, they would both ride. Well, they both raised well beyond the $2k (final figure was ~$8600!!! Go, guys!) so they agreed to have a race -- the Tour de Emdeon.
But having these two big men riding these little bikes through the office wasn't enough...
