Six years ago this morning, gryphonrhi and I got a phone call telling us to turn on the news, RIGHT NOW. What we saw is still burned into my brain and my heart.

To those who fell that day, and those who have fallen since as a result, I hope that you rest in peace and that where ever you've gone from here, you've found something better.

To those who rode through that with us, whether you were here physically or just in spirit... to those who came to us, both seeking and offering comfort and strength... thank you doesn't seem enough, but it's all I can think of to say, and I don't think I ever did.
