Nothing earth-shattering, just a follow-up on my visit back in August.
He wanted to check my cholesterol and my weight. I called his office yesterday morning to find out if it needed to be fasting bloodwork, and they told me no -- which turned out to be incorrect. So now I'm going back first thing tomorrow morning to let them pull blood, and see how the cholesterol levels are doing.
The weight, on the other hand, is down 7 pounds. Not a lot, especially for a period of several months, but I also know that those months included Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a week of eating very well while on vacation in the Smokies, so I'm not too displeased.
The doc says that he's fully expecting the cholesterol levels to have improved as well, but we'll have to wait and see what the actual numbers look like. Given that my normal breakfast these last 3 months or so has been Cheerios and orange juice (no, not mixed together, thank you ::G::), plus taking powdered green tea, and fish oil, I'm going to be royally pissed if my cholesterol isn't significantly down!
