Do you remember "mood rings" from the 70's and early 80's? Well, someone got the idea to do a (please put your drinks down, folks) ... "mood crucifix".
No, they don't change colors, like the old mood rings did. Instead, there is an image of Christ that becomes visible on the cross once your body heat has warmed the crucifix sufficiently.
I saw these in the drugstore when I was dropping of some film, and I was alternating between feeling somewhat offended, and almost hurting myself trying not to burst out laughing!
I'm not easily offended, and can't quite put my finger on why these do so... but man, the people who came up with these are going to *burn*! LOL

Perhaps it's the cheesy sanctimony of it? As if one can *measure* one's faith with a chemically treated trinket. It's also laughable because of how badly it misses the point.
