New evidence indicates that Carl Rove was the one who leaked CIA operative Valeria Plame. At the time of the incident, the Bush administration said that if anyone in the administration was involved in leaking the information, that they would no longer be a part of the administration. Now they seem to be strangely mute on the subject, according to yahoo news

Valerie, not Valeria, and yeah. Very quiet now. Idiots. Spin control's not going to work when they've gotten a reporter arrested for not testifying on this....

For the past several months, what with administration "optimism" about Iraq and the whole Plamegate, I've been experiencing a depressing sense of deja-vu.

At least Bush's lackeys have the sense not to use the phrase "light at the end of the tunnel" in their persistently optimistic declarations on the progress of the Iraq debacle.

However, as long as I'm re-living the past there's two things I want to know:

What did the President know and when did he know it?
