... and long overdue.

GryphonRhi and I have been together for 18 years now. For most of that time, she's been very carefully holding back in her responses towards my little sister -- the one that the family referred to and addressed as "Little Bitch" for several years. For at *least* 15 years now, I've been telling Rhi to "let her have it with both barrels!"

Well, this weekend, Little Bitch went too far, and it blew up in her face.

Apparently, she felt like Rhi snapped at her, so she made a comment to the effect of, "Well! I'll just go talk to somebody nicer!" and turned away.

Rhi tried to take LilBitch aside for a quiet, private conversation, but LilBitch wouldn't go. So Rhi basically told LilBitch that she'd gone too far, and that Rhi was tired of putting up with her crap and with her always ordering everyone around, etc.

And then I heard something I'd have sworn was beyond even LilBitch's stupidity levels.

I'm honestly not sure if LilBitch was talking to her mother, her husband, or just ranting to the world in general, but I heard her say something to the effect of:

"I don't care, kung fu or no kung fu, I'll kick her ass!" (why specifically "kung fu," I don't know and didn't ask)

At which point I couldn't help laughing, and said, "Well, that would certainly be amusing to watch!"

It ended up with LilBitch feeling like she wasn't getting the sympathy she deserved from the rest of the family (i.e. none, from what I could see), throwing a hissy fit, crying, and leaving.

Oh, and what Rhi did to "snap" at LilBitch?

She was standing 6-8 paces away, in a large, noisy crowd. LilBitch had called out to Rhi, and Rhi turned to see what she wanted, and said, "What?" Now, any of you who have had vocal training or spent time in theater know that if you want your voice to carry over a lot of crowd noise, you need to use certain pitches. Rhi knows this, and knows how to do it... which LilBitch interpreted as "snapping" at her.

So... yeah. It was interesting, and long overdue.

And almost a shame that LilBitch didn't actually try to get physical... ::WEG::

*definitely* long overdue. Go, Rhi!

(And keep reminding her about the 'well-deserved' and 'long-overdue', 'kay?)
