Job nibble

I hope I'm not jinxing myself with this, but...

I actually got a nibble on my job search -- for a position back in Memphis. ::G::

One of the headhunters back there called to see if I would be interested in doing some C++/UNIX work. The money sounds decent, so I'm checking with a friend who just left that company after a good many years, to try and get a 'feel' for the place.

Although at this point, I tend to be of the opinion that they can't be significantly worse than where I'm working now! ::knock on wood::

And while Memphis isn't exactly my first choice of locations right now, it would have certain advantages -- such as being able to get back into my old dojo! The Aikido school here is nice, but this guy's no Gary-san!

And yeah, Memphis isn't where you guys wanted to be; but SC isn't exactly ideal, either. And it's a job while you sit back and wait for the evil empire to get around to actually looking at your resume, right? *g*
