It seems that there is yet more ugliness to this whole Sony mess.
I mentioned earlier that as a programmer, I could sympathize with Sony wanting to protect their products from illegal copies. However, I've just lost any and all sympathy I had for them.
It seems that in the course of trying to protect themselves from music pirates, they have committed software piracy. I'm sorry, but stealing the tools to protect your own works from theft just doesn't work.
