Yay!

I just talked to my father. He had an appointment with his heart doctor today, and got some very good news!

The doc said that he had a "perfect" EKG -- the best it has ever been in the entire time my father's been seeing this doctor. Not only that, but they sent him for another test (he couldn't remember the name) that measures the strength of the heartbeat and the volume of blood being pumped. Four months ago, his rating on that test was 30-35. Today, it's back up to 40.

I'll admit that I don't know enough about that particular test to interpret those numbers, but according to what the doc told my father, it means that his heart is recovering from all the crap he went through, and is starting to get stronger again.

Go, Dad! 8-)

WooHoo! That's great news! As someone who has gone thru a parent with heart concerns..not to mention open heart surgery... I understand exactally how you feel. Good thoughts being sent your Dad's way for continued healing.
