What sort of evil demon possessed me to do this?

Clearly, I have been possessed by an overachievement demon. So far, I think I hate him.


What's on my plate right now? Well, let's see...

My 40-plus hour a week job...

Prepping for a 3rd-degree black belt test, date: unknown but soon. I suspect before the end of the month, so within 3 weeks...

My summer term: 1 of 2 classes that stand between me and my degree. This one is "Organizational Communications," which is one of those that could oh-so-easily be a blowoff course. However, the prof is determined not to let that happen. To this end, we will be covering each unit within 4-5 days, and during each unit we will be required to post 3 essays (thankfully short), plus respond to at least 3 classmates' essays with another mini-essay. Not unbearable in and of itself, but the prof has decreed that we can only post 1 essay and 1 response on any given day. So if you're offline for any reason for more than 2 days during a unit, you automatically lose a chunk of your grade for that unit.

This weekend gryphonrhi and I will be going to a family reunion, where she will be trying valiantly not to laugh or cry at my relatives... ::G::

And Monday I start a "refresher course" on Java two nights a week at work, which will run until late July. As a result, on M-W I'll be in the Java class until 7:00, and on T-Th I'll be in Kempo class until 8:00 - 8:30.

Anybody know a good exorcist? LOL
