Movies Meme
Movie List Meme: Number all films you have seen in their entirety at least once. If your score exceeds 70, you have no life. Place your score in the header and repost.

56.

I have a life, but only just. There's a few you haven't seen in that list that I own - and are therefore ones I like, as I only generally buy ones I plan on seeing again. So I hereby recommend the following as ones you may enjoy (although none are in the 'Oh my word, you have *GOT* to see this one, apart from maybe Swimmingw with Sharks.)

The Village - I enjoyed it. Creepy but not too scary, just as I like them.
Never been kissed - Fluff, but good fluff and too close to the bone sometimes!
Ten things I hate about you - modern shakespeare. Saw it at the cinema on my own and have wanted to see it again ever since to see if it was as enjoyable as I remembered. Again it's teen fluff.
Calendar Girls - the British Women's Institute bares all. Nice gentle film.
Swimming with Sharks - It's a Kevin Spacey film. Need I say more?

Oh.

I have seen Calendar Girls, I just didn't recognize the title. You're right -- nice film!

So I'm up to 72 now... slightly less of a life than before. ::G::

::amused:: I've seen 34 of these -- I knew you watched more TV & movies than I did, but that's a tad ridiculous. Especially since you're at 25 -- you watched Practical Magic *with me* so I know you've seen it. (Nicole Kidman and the other hereditary witch dancing around the kitchen drinking margaritas?)

As I said on my posting of the meme (which I just realized I forgot to mention where I got it -- oops!) I think lists like this say more about who puts them together than who posts them.

The preponderance of horror films and the lack of classics, plus the notion that if you've seen of them means you have no life to me indicates that the person who put this together is likely in their early twenties, male, and in the US. Oh, and not a film student or Casablanca would be on the list at the very least.

Either that, or it was made by a film student -- who deliberately left the classics off because having seen those is an indication of a well-rounded, cultured individual, rather than someone with no life! LOL
