Alpha Test phase completed! And 5 days ahead of schedule!

Thank you to my two Alpha testers, RagonDev and Mysteque, and to [livejournal.com profile] gryphonrhi for looking over the user documentation for me!

Completed user documentation, which GryphonRhi edited.

"Tester pack" (executable program, user documentation, tester documentation, and sample data files) send to [livejournal.com profile] saxononyx for QA testing.

Current Project Phase: QA Testing
Timeframe for current phase: Nov 5 - 11 (ahead of schedule!)
Tasks for current phase:
Deliver the program and any documentation to the QA tester for System testing (done 10/31/06)
Document feedback on program from QA tester.
Evaluate testing feedback for any changes needed to final version of the program.



Next Phase: Beta Testing
Timeframe for next phase: Nov 12 - 18
Tasks for next phase:
Deliver program and any documentation to Beta testers for Beta testing
Document feedback on program from each Beta tester
Evaluate testing feedback for any changes needed to final version of program or documentation

I know -- it's probably illegal, or at least a violation of the Software Developer's Code of Ethics! ::G::

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the violation is in admitting that it's ahead of schedule before the due date is here. That way, when timelines get sliced by PHBs, we can look like miracle workers by still pulling it off. 8-)
