On the way in to work this morning, I heard a song on the radio that made me want some brain bleach.

The chorus was:

I want to see you out in the moonlight
And I want to kiss you way back in the sticks.
I want to walk you through a field of wildflowers
And I want to check you for ticks.

and that's the point where my brain went off-line! LOL

Well, um.... it certainly implies... caring? *grin*

It certainly implies something, I'm just not sure what!

::sigh:: I've heard it too. Isn't that god-awful?

Brad Paisley said in an interview that it's quite the sign of devotion to check someone for ticks because you have to check them throughly. :-)

It's not one of his best songs, IMO, but it is cute, and the man can seriously play guitar.

I thought the first line a bit boring. And so on for the second and third and then my mind came to a screaming halt....I just can't believe it.

You know, that was about my reaction, too!

Ah yes, Brad Paisley. See also the songs "Mud on the Tires," "Alcohol," "Celebrity," "Little Moments," and "I'm Gonna Miss Her."
