So here's last year's list. I had some success this past year, but not as much as I would have liked:
Fannish Things
1. My Shadowbringers "summaries"
STILL not done. I think I did one update? Gotta get cracking on this!
2. The FFBE script
Last year I was lamenting not having Season 2/all the story events captured. I have since found YouTube channels that have the whole of Season 2 and many of the story events recorded! \o/ I would like to put some work into doing Season 2 this year.
3. Final Fantasy XI story
This was new for last year, and I'm really pleased with how much I've gotten done. I've documented Bastok missions through rank 5, plus the first expansion, Rise of the Zilart. I'm at work on the second expansion now.
4. Neocities!
This was also new for 2025, and I am very happy to say that I completed it! Well, completed in the sense that I got it fixed up enough to launch. It's always going to be a work in progress. I'm hoping to put a lot of work into it this year.
Knitting & Crochet Projects
I finished 23 projects in 2025, some of which had multiple pieces. I have dutifully made the list of WIPs, which is still L-O-N-G.
The following WIPs were deleted in 2025. Either frogged, or thrown away, or just lost and decided I didn't care to finish them:
* Mathilda Bolero
* Hospice Canaries
* Amigurumi Potted Plant
* Cherry Blossom Bonsai
* Perfect Knit T-Shirt
* NewYear Tree
* Little Green Elf Cowl
* Small Eastern Dragon
* Marion Slouch
* Boo! Doily
But I also added a bunch of WIPs, so the number hasn't changed much:
* Weekend Headband
* Mosey - technically done but I might lengthen them, so still marked WIP
* Versailles Scarf
* Pretty Poinsettia Ornament
* Disney Crochet Kit Halloween Stitch
* Sylvan Tee
* Butterfly Shawl
* Sophie Scarf
* SECRET PROJECT
* Diamond Peaks Drawstring Bag
* P 9. Shawl (ショール)
* Glymur
* Sweetheart Soiree
* Emotional Support Chicken
This year, I'd really like to focus on bigger projects and get some garments done. So I don't know how many of these WIPs will be touched this year. We'll see!
Here's the list of WIPs:

Shouted across the lobby and lounge of my mother's care home, as I sat in one of their armchairs talking to her:
"Eeee, David you look just like one of the residents!"
That was from the senior carer, cheeky so-and-so!
(She was at school with my sister, I blame the company she grew up with).
Thank you so much for volunteering to write a story for me! I’m the sort of nerd who’s interested in lore and worldbuilding, but I have a major soft spot for stories that focus on friendship and romance. I also enjoy relationships in which the characters don’t particularly like each other but have an interesting dynamic together. Situationships? Why not!
I admire and appreciate stories of all lengths. If you’re here to write a short vignette, that would make me very happy. But longer stories are welcome too, of course! Whatever you create, I’m excited to see what you do with these characters and their relationships.
I am totally okay with:

Thank you again for volunteering your time and talent. I know you’ll create something marvelous, and I’m sending lots of encouragement and sweet candy energy your way.
I had a chiropractic appointment and a pedicure this morning. I don’t drink champagne, but since it was New Year’s Eve I suggested champagne bubbles for the design. She had no idea how to do that, but googled it and came up with something she could do without fancy stickers.
Since I didn’t get there yesterday, I hit Walmart, Price Chopper and the Pharmacy while I was downtown. I picked up Chinese for lunch. And that took up my entire morning!
Chores were minimal; I hand-washed dishes, cut up chicken for the dogs' meals, and scooped kitty litter. I made shake ‘n bake chicken legs for Pip’s supper. I made spinach dip for the first time in years! I picked up a round loaf of pumpernickel for the occasion.
I had planned to read, but I remembered that one of my HGTV programs (Fixer to Fabulous) had aired Tuesday night, so I watched that. And when I went to the DVR I remembered that the final three eps of season one of The Pitt had aired Monday night, so I had to watch ~that as well. And then I watched-watched an ep of Secrets of the Zoo.
No tea today because I wasn’t home in the morning, which is my prime tea time. I did pick up a package of Lindor’s raspberry cheesecake flavored truffles, only to be like, wow, how can raspberry be so tasteless? Now, it’s possible that my taste has been affected by my cold, or whatever it is, so I’ll try them again later, but man, so disappointing.
Temps started out at 20.1(F) and reached 32.5. There was some sun, but it didn’t last long.
Mom Update:
Mom sounded good when I talked to her. Sister A and Ian had visited earlier, and Sister S was there when I called, so even though I’m unable to visit, she is still having visitors.
Yesterday was snowy off and on. The plow went by a couple of times, including in the evening, which surprised me. Usually, after a certain hour, we're on our own, but I guess they were cleaning it up for New Year's Eve revelers.
It was a quiet day yesterday. After my interrupted sleep of the night before, I took a couple of naps, one right after I made my post yesterday morning. I didn't do much of anything. I spent a lot of time at my desk. I noodled around online, but I also caught up my book journal, which I had let languish since the end of June. I read a lot in July, but I was also on vacation and didn't take the book with me. I hurried to catch it up, so really only put in the published books that I read, not all the fic, which I also track. I'll have to run some numbers, then I'll have a more or less accurate count for the year.
Last evening, instead of reading, I watched a movie. I dithered between ID4 (because I was sort of depressed and that's one of the movies that I watch when I'm depressed) or Mission Impossible and went with the latter, since I still haven't seen the last movie. I started with Ghost Protocol which is my favorite of the series. The first one is great for introducing the characters, but I don't like it because I was a fan of the original series and liked Jim Phelps. The second one is...yeah, okay, whatever. The third one...like Benji, I like Julia, but I do not like Philip Seymour Hoffman in it, so I don't watch it. So usually when I do a rewatch, I start with Ghost Protocol. I like all the characters, and really wish they'd kept Brandt...though apparently he left due to scheduling conflicts, which is fine. Oh, and I would like to point out that despite everything everyone knows about team/ensemble movies, it is entirely possible to have more than one woman on a team.
I went to bed more or less on time. Parker was curled up on the bench at the foot of the bed, so he was entirely accessible for kicking out of the bedroom, but I left him, so he came up next to me and settled in for the night. I left the door partly open, so if he decided he wanted to leave, he could, or if Tegan wanted to join us, she could, but neither thing happened. I didn't really sleep -- or I dreamed that I wasn't sleeping, which amounts to the same thing. At midnight, I heard a muffled thud, and was afraid that it was the critters coming back, but I think it was the big church near my office building having a fireworks show. In the middle of a snowstorm. With wind. Presumably because they're idiots.
Also? Fireworks at midnight? That would be one thing if they were out in the country somewhere with no homes for miles around, but they're in the middle of the city, fercryin'outloud -- and not everyone stays up to make sure the door doesn't hit the old year in the ass on the way out. I was not impressed. It didn't last long, at least, though twenty minutes at midnight, is still extremely annoying.
So, yeah, I did see the year tick over, though not at all because I wanted to.
But when I said it was a quiet day, I meant quiet. There were no animal noises all day and none during the night. It was all a relief, but I spent the day (and night) on edge. Maybe that's why I didn't sleep, more than Parker's presence.
I have no plans for today at all. Maybe I'll go upstairs and work in my craft room. Maybe I'll watch movies. Maybe I'll sit here at my desk and watch YouTube clips all day. It's Other Thursday, but I might as well wait to pay bills until tomorrow, since the only reason I usually do it on Thursday evenings is that I'm not available to do it on Friday mornings. I should probably log into my work email at some point and clear out some of the junk emails that will have accumulated. The only thing I absolutely have to do is change the kitty litter and get the garbage out, but that can wait until later.
Hi ho. Happy New Year, I guess.
As promised (or threatened?) at the start of the last post about stranger things here’s a more general post.
The past week has been that weird time of year where everything is kinda strange so it’s been a time of mostly watching stuff. I’ll get to some of that later on though.
Tuesday was an unexpected trip, mums friend from the library (not who she’s with most of the time but she is sometimes) was heading to Home Bargains and asked if we wanted to go. I wasn’t too keen cause of momey and not wanting to go out in general but she mentioned she was feeling unsteady so I told mum it’s best we go just in case. We didn’t get much from there but I got chilli sauce I wanted to pick up and two more of the doorables things (one which had Fennec the other had Leia). On seeing that the guy at the til asked who my fav Star Wars character was and my mind instantly blanked 😭 I said R2 and Leia which is true but I could have said more if I had thought.
Going also meant I could pop in JYSK a store that sells furniture. I saw they had storage boxes for £2.50 and the measurements seemed like one would be good for record storage so I picked on up. When I got home it was the right size, the records fit nicely so that’ll be useful.
I found that my Xmas package from
Yesterday we went down to Sainsburys, it was mums idea cause of the party food ending last night. Alas as such most of it was gone (I hate that the tacos went so quick I love them so many) but I got some of the dim sum things reduced so it was essentially 3 for the price of 1. And at least I got my Lego magazines (and a lil set from Aldi). It also meant mum could see the new M and S (she didn’t think much of it cause of the layout) and at least I got sushi
We also went into tk and I got some books (myths and legends of Egypt, the dark forces of Tolkien) and some Cinamoroll stuff (a mug and socks, plus some lights) which was cute.
But ugh going meant I was so exhausted last night and it meant I just tuned out a bit. I did try and finish a fall guys event but failed cause damn getting ranked wins is hard (I needed 2 to get the last reward and only managed one, I didn’t realise it ended today until then or I’d have tried harder sooner)
And then the alcohol we have didn’t taste too great, made my head fuzzy and then activated my sadness which is still there now. Ugh.

But onto things watched.
Bullet point thoughts on shows
*The Good Ship Murder - was pretty good, I’m glad the series is back on in a few days
*Death In Paradise - was pretty good too. It was funny that so much of it was in the cold drab uk (poor Selwyn!) though that last scene made me happy
*Midsomer Murders - two pretty solid eps, I think the first was the one that worked best
*the Christmas lectures - I managed to see them all (roughly on time) and they were pretty fun. I do enjoy Maggie (and her hair was so pretty) but she did talk a lil fast at times (which might be an adhd thing since she mentioned having it at the end, which was a sweet moment)
Thee was also a thing on called Titanic Sinks Tonight. I’ve seen three of the eps so far and it’s so fascinating. It’s about the sinking (obviously) but from the perspectives and memories of survives (with some experts too) and it is both interesting and horrific. (I dunno what it is about the sinking that interests us so this long after.) So much is just galling. A communication about ice was completely ignored, there was no direct communication between the engine room to let the crew know a flood was happening (it took someone running through the ship to find out!), the captain didn’t inform key crew about the urgency of the situation, a nearby ship didn’t have the radio room manned so missed the sos’, third class passengers weren’t even told anything was happening and, of course, there’s the lifeboats which were famously not fully filled (again cause of poor communication and one guy taking women and children first to mean women and children only).
I’ve also watched a bunch of films, so same deal.
*Puss In Boots the last wish - I loved this, one of the best films I’ve seen over the holidays. (And not just cause of the hot wolf). I loved the lil dog and that it turned into a quest (I love a good quest) and kitty soft paws looks so much like Midna.
*A Wrinkle In Time - Not scene before but wanted to because of Stranger Things. For the most part it was pretty good, especially the Camazotz scenes
*Back To The Future - The trilogy was on tv and I’d not seen for awhile so decided to watch. It was pretty good, part II was my fav (though it’s so funny how advanced they thought we’d be in 2015). It was bold to make the third one a western (though that meant it didn’t quite land as well cause Im not a western fan.)
Also I finally watched Strange Harvest, I’d wanted to see it since seeing the trailer and it came to prime video as a paid download this month. It was half off in the sale so I picked it up and ahh I’m so glad I did. It’s played as true crime documentary with interviews from police, experts and family of victims of a serial killer. It works so well and I’m glad it was as good as I hoped it would be (perhaps better).
(I’m sure I missed a bunch of other stuff I watched, this year is always so busy with things)
Today is gonna be spent watching the traitors prom, then the traitors tonight and maybe watching something else but what depends on mood (if it’s still low I doubt I’ll watch the Stranger Things finale) and there’ll be another post for snowflake. I do wanna fic some (again depends on mood) and set up a quest calendar thing I got.
My rule is that I only create fanworks for this card for public domain properties (doesn't feel right, this word, we'll workshop that later).

Comment with Just One Thing you've accomplished in the last 24 hours or so. It doesn't have to be a hard thing, or even a thing that you think is particularly awesome. Just a thing that you did.
Feel free to share more than one thing if you're feeling particularly accomplished! Extra credit: find someone in the comments and give them props for what they achieved!
Nothing is too big, too small, too strange or too cryptic. And in case you'd rather do this in private, anonymous comments are screened. I will only unscreen if you ask me to.

"Ruling from Beneath"
Kraken had always contained
enough scientists to understand
observation changing experiments.
They realized that ruling from beneath
would cause less ripples, less risk of
rocking the boat, than trying to be
the shadow behind the throne.
Nobody would ever look for
world leaders underneath
the deep blue sea.
If you'd like to sponsor a particular square, especially if you have an idea for what character, series, or situation it would fit -- talk to me and we'll work something out. I've had a few requests for this and the results have been awesome so far. This is a good opportunity for those of you with favorites that don't always mesh well with the themes of my monthly projects. I may still post some of the fills for free, because I'm using this to attract new readers; but if it brings in money, that means I can do more of it. That's part of why I'm crossing some of the bingo prompts with other projects, such as the Poetry Fishbowl.
Underlined prompts have been filled.

Since I stopped posting regularly I have:
* Become very normal about hockey goalies. The above goalie is the Kraken's Joey Daccord.
* written 8 Heated Rivalry fanfics (actually more than 8, some of it I posted anon)
* Remember when I was all 'guys, hey there is this show coming out about gay hockey players and no one is talking about it:( really it's so relevant to fandom interests and...' Yeah, so, that show did happen become a bit of a thing. I feel like I got hit by a steamroller. I went from feeling like an over-invested fan to not being able to keep up with all the promo photoshoots.
* I drew the bookstore that runs the book clubs I am in. Sort of. I meant to color it and also fix a few things, but for Xmas I just added an anthro reindeer and posted it to the book clubs discord, and now people have printed stickers of it to put in their journals:

Far from what I wanted, but honestly a project coming together even that much? Man, just a project coming together rather than falling apart was amazing.
* I've also taken to watching hockey on Sundays at Sports Bra. Portland, we don't have a good place to watch boy's hockey but we have an amazing bar to watch women's hockey. On one hand, amazing that I have a place like that to watch hockey, even if it's interrupted by drag performances... especially because it's interrupted by drag performances sometimes. On the other, I just really want to drink a beer in a sports bar with guys and watch NHL. It's amazing but also like... *hand gestures*
* I read 53 books this year. I might still finish Murder Between Us before midnight. Maybe.
* I am going to start posting here somewhat, but I am also, well, we'll see how it goes.

My wife had a completely opposite reaction to the pandemic. It was more of a nuisance to her. In her eyes, there was no threat. My wife began to develop a feeling of abandonment from someone who was supposed to be her mother-in-law. She opened up to me about how much she was hurt, and I told her it wasn't my mother's fault and that she was just petrified by the pandemic and it was the only thing she could do.
My wife told me I was taking my mother’s side. Hurtful messages were sent by my wife and my mother just shut down the relationship and blocked her.mMy wedding was in October 2021. My mother braved the crowd of 155 people and attended without a mask. I was so proud of her. But my wife was angry about her presence.
My wife and I are still fighting occasionally about this issue, and the spats are becoming increasingly more intense. She still says extremely hurtful things about my mother often. My mother’s mindset was extreme but considering her working at a nursing home and having asthma, it’s totally understandable. That isn’t believable, according to my wife.
I am writing for guidance to understand how to solve this mess. Was I in the wrong for how I initially reacted toward my wife? I just don’t want this to destroy my marriage.

2. Dear Eric: Our son and his girlfriend of 24 years got married by a judge. It was a civil ceremony necessary to get him on her health insurance.
He approached my wife and me and said, "we're not into social media.” I did not glean from this that he meant we should post nothing at all. To share the good news with my friends, I did post one photo. Late the next night he texted us to take it down, saying "we asked you directly not to do this." I replied, I'm sorry, I didn't understand that I was not to post anything at all.
I feel bad because my son seems to feel he can forbid me from sharing this news with my friends. Many are longtime friends from church who have known my son for decades. It seems to me a little pushy for him to forbid me to share with my friends what I feel is good news. He seems to want to downplay it.
Should I not have made the post and leaned more toward caution? Should I have interpreted "we're not into social media" differently? I welcome your advice about how to perceive this situation and where to go from here.

3. Dear Eric: My children are grown. Two live locally and one super local (our home!). One is married with young children, and we see them often, spending most holidays with them. (In-laws are unpleasant, to say the least.)
Our middle child is in a relatively new relationship that has become pretty serious. We planned a beach vacation with my in-laws (our kids’ cousins, aunt and uncles) for Thanksgiving, which everyone seemed excited about when we booked the house.
Now the middle child will come with his girlfriend for just a few days and then fly to her family for the actual holiday. He has been noncommittal about Christmas because they may again travel to her family. When we got married, we alternated holidays with our families or stayed home. We were careful not to favor one side over the other. I really like his girlfriend but am sad that he seems OK with spending all holidays with her family.
Any suggestions on how to broach this subject without sounding whiny or critical? If it matters, she only recently moved to our area.

I’m on vacation. Here are some past letters that I’m making new again, rather than leaving them to wilt in the archives.
1. I want to break up with my boyfriend — but I work for his parents
I just graduated from college last spring with a degree in a field that’s rather difficult to find work in. Lucky for me, my boyfriend’s parents happened to own a business in that field and they had a position open that was basically my ideal role (and probably several steps above any entry-level position I would have gotten elsewhere). I saw it as a great career stepping stone and accepted their offer. It has been far from perfect (typical small, family-run business issues), but overall, I’m comfortable with the position and wanted to stay in it for at least a year before moving on to the next great adventure.
Cut to now, nine months in, and I’ve realized I really need to break up with my boyfriend, as soon as possible. My grand decision to work for his parents is feeling pretty stupid (I’ve felt pretty dumb about it for a while now — feeling trapped by this job situation is part of what made me realize we need to break up). My boyfriend and I live together and our lease is not up until July. I’m willing to eat some money and move back in with my parents while paying off my rent, but in order to do that, I need to keep a job.
I’ve started job hunting, but am left with the decision to miserably prolong the breakup until whenever the time comes that I have something lined up, or continuing to work for his parents post-break-up and take whatever fresh hell that arrangement presents me with. They are good people, and I don’t think they would fire me or consciously retaliate in any way, but I still feel that there’s no way it will really function well.
I’m also kicking myself because I’m so close to the one-year mark, I’ve invested a lot of time and energy into this position, and never did I consider what would happen if all of my professional experience was tied up with an ex’s family. Like, what would a reference from them look like for future positions? Again, I think they will wish me well in life, but it would still feel awkward asking them to speak on my behalf to future employers. On that note, if I do leave before the one-year mark, what should I say to future employers about my leaving? All personal drama aside, I think I’ve done well in the position and accomplished a lot. I would hate to leave it off my resume to avoid bringing up my rather poor judgement on accepting the role.
If your boyfriend’s parents are decent people, they should handle this professionally and kindly. It will be awkward, yes, but awkward isn’t the same thing as horrible or insurmountable — and the awkwardness may go away sooner than you think if you make a point of being really professional and hard-working and showing that you’re determined to continue being a good employee and not let the break-up impact your work. (And really, if they’re thoughtful people, it occurred to them that this could happen when they hired you.)
They’d have to be really petty to let this impact the references they give you, and you say they’re not, so I don’t think you have to worry too much about that. You definitely don’t need to leave this job off your resume!
I do agree, though, you should definitely be job searching actively. There’s nothing magical about making it to the one-year mark in a job — nine months is not all that different from 12 months in that regard. It’s still a short-ish stay, but that’s not a big deal for your first job right out of school. (But you do want to make sure that you stay in the next one for at least a couple of years so it doesn’t start to look like a pattern.) You could tell interviewers that you’re looking to leave because it’s a small family-run business and you’ve realized that you’d like to work somewhere more established/with more structure/whatever makes sense for the context. Interviewers will understand that, and you won’t need to get into the boyfriend situation at all.

2. I had an awkward elevator encounter with the CEO
I ran into my boss while waiting for the elevator and things went south. Our company is huge, and our CEO is a very important figure. Everyone seems to always be on their best behavior when she comes around the corner. Out of nervousness, after she asked how my day was going, I replied that it was going well, but that “Mondays are always slow and droopy.”
Our CEO is very big on productivity and positivity. She even preaches about the importance of productivity under any circumstance on a weekly basis during our massive company meetings. The look on her face when I said this seemed alarming. She followed my statement by changing the subject to mention the weather. Is this just paranoia brought on my extreme anxiety or did I really just mess up? Our CEO is great at remembering faces and I’m worried that this will affect how she sees me or, worse, she will tell my direct supervisor what I said. Should I be worried? I feel as though I’m the only idiot to have ever said something like this to her. Help!
It wasn’t a great thing to say, but it’s not horrible either. That kind of comment about Mondays isn’t exactly unheard of; I’m sure she’s heard similar things before (and I’m sure you’re not the only one to make an awkward remark to her out of nerves either). I doubt that she was still thinking about this even 10 minutes later, but hey, if she does mention it to your boss, your boss will hopefully tell her that there’s no reason to worry about you (assuming that’s true), so that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Give yourself permission to laugh at what happened and then put it behind you.

3. I don’t want to sit next to my wife at work
My wife and I work at the same company, an insurance broking firm — we met through work 10 years ago. We work in the same overall department now, but where there is any crossover with the work each of our teams does, I make sure I assign other people to deal with her, and she does the same vice versa so we keep work and marriage separate. We currently sit at other ends of the office about 30 yards apart so we cannot even hear each other at present.
The problem is that we now have a couple more employees than desks, so are moving to what our boss is calling agile working, i.e. just use whatever desk you can. It will work okay as there are always people off or away on business. My wife and I are okay with it in principle, but we don’t want to get to a situation where the only spare desks are together. Imagine if we have had an argument about something, or if we discuss work and have a disagreement.
So ideally I would like us to have allocated desks so we can stay sat as far apart as possible, but our boss is basically saying no, it’s first come first served to be fair to everyone, and we should just get to the office earlier to ensure we can bag desks far apart. This sounds wrong to me, and I would be grateful if you could suggest how I can maybe take this forward.
Your boss might be more open to it if there happen to be two desks in particularly undesirable locations and you offer to take those two worst ones as your permanent spots, as a trade-off for not having to suffer under this new plan like everyone else will. But if there aren’t two “worst” desks, or if he’s not open to it, then he’s right that all you can do is try to get there a little early to ensure you’re not next to each other. While it’s true that it’s not good for married people to sit next to each other at work — for all sorts of reasons — he’s also right that it might not feel fair to others if you two get permanent spots to store your stuff while they have to scramble for space every day.

4. My company says I didn’t return their property on my last day
What can happen if you say you returned all company property after being terminated, but the company says you didn’t? My employer fired me on Monday, asked for my badge, cell, iPad, briefcase, and chargers. I gave them the badge and cell and went to my car to get the chargers, briefcase, and iPad and then left them in the office right inside the door and left. I then received a letter with my final paycheck saying that I told them I was going to my car and never returned.
It’s too late for this now, but ideally you’d want to give the property to an actual person; if you just leave it inside the door, there’s too much chance that it will get misplaced by someone who doesn’t know the context for why it’s there. If you told them you were going to your car to get these items and then just stuck them inside the door and left, and someone moved (or took) the items, I can see why they thought you just took off. And I totally get wanting to get the hell out of there after being fired, but you did kind of play fast and loose with that property, even if you didn’t intend to.
In any case, all you can do is explain what happened. I’d say something like this to them: “The day that I left, January 26, I left two chargers, a briefcase, and an iPad directly inside the front door of the building, right around 2:45 p.m. My understanding was that you wished me to leave after returning this property, which I did. I hope I didn’t misunderstand. In any case, if there are any loose ends still to be tied up, please let me know.”
Also, it’s not clear to me whether they paid you the full amount due in your final check or whether they’re withholding the cost of these items. In most states, they owe you the full amount of your final paycheck either way, unless you signed a written agreement to the contrary.

The post breaking up with my boyfriend when I work for his parents, awkward elevator encounter with the CEO, and more appeared first on Ask a Manager.
Happy New Year’s everyone. I hope it is filled with creativity. When a work's copyright expires, it enters the public domain. In the United States, all works first published in 1930 and sound recordings from 1925 are now available for adaption, performance, and other transformative works. There are worldwide variations in the copyright law and I’ve included works found on various lists by people who know more about this than I do.
I’ve created 3X3 public cards for each subsection. I grouped the written word together, movie-tv-cartoons and music paired with art. If I’m honest there’s less art because I could only find a few. Also I made a 5X5 public card that was a mixed bag of it all. And if you’re like me, and you want to create your own card, you can head here to the bingo card generator and you can put your works here on our AO3 collection if you so wish.

Please consult the tagset for the list of fandoms and relationships you can request and offer. If you can't find a canon you nominated, make sure to check Uncategorized Fandoms, which is where fandoms will be listed if they haven't appeared on AO3 yet or if I've had to alter the canonical tag.
Important: While the Relationships field on the signup form has a dropdown that, when you start typing, should connect with the tagset, AO3 always doesn't display all nominated relationships for a fandom. If the relationship you're trying to request/offer is in the tagset but not appearing as a selection that you can make, please copy-paste it directly from tagset into your signup form. This will let the system recognize that it's the same tag.
Remember, Character A & Character B is platonic, Character A/Character B is romantic/sexual.
There's a letters post, if you want to link your letter there, and you'll also be able to browse requests either on AO3 or the app.
Signups will be open until January 7, 11:59PM EST. Please see the signup rules here.
You can comment here or contact the mod email--candyheartsex at gmail dot com--if you have any questions.
